Lots of Fun to be Had in WoW Winter Festival

There has been a ton of fun at the Winter Festival in World of Warcraft.
I don’t know how many of you have had a chance to share in the fun in Wold of Warcraft but for the last half of December, Blizzard has treated us to a grand winter festival. There have been snowball fights, treasure hunts, gifts from Greatfather Winter, (who looks suspiciously like Santa), and a lot more.

Some of the gifts are a blast. For example, I received a wand that allows me to target a group of players and blast them with winter cheer. It makes everyone within my cast laugh. Another gift I received allows me to use snowballs as a reagent to calling forth a pet reindeer. It’s complete with harness and jingle bells. There is also a machine that turns your character into Santa of a green-clothed elf for 30 minutes.

On New Year’s Eve, there is a big fishing festival in Booty Bay and all along the shoreline that will award some very special fish. And to top it all off, there is free booze in Booty Bay and in Stormwind, and a big fireworks display in the evening to celebrate the New Year.

Many other MMOs are doing similar celebrations such as City of Heroes and City of Villains. Just log in to receive your gift, but there are also missions that will grant you special rewards. Guild wars is having special celebrations to commemorate the holiday season, and there are so many others getting into the holiday cheer. Be sure to hit your favorite MMO while the party is still going on!

My only question is, “what exactly is Santa doing to this reindeer” Riding it?

Okay, a couple more questions…is Santa delivering our gifts by a different method? And what is the reason for this? Angry Reindeer?
